P2 had great fun on their trip to visit a real building site as part of their Houses and Homes topic. We walked from school to Thaxton Village to see homes that were being built and homes that had been finished. The children enjoyed seeing the digger doing lots of tricks and learned about all the different materials that are used when building a house. We had lots of fun and the very kind builders gave us an Easter egg each!
