Super Scientists in P6!
P6 have started their exciting Super Scientist topic this month. We have enjoyed researching scientific discoveries and learning about famous scientists and their work. Our first experiment was all about gravity, discovered by Isaac Newton. We investigated if the weight of an object changes the speed at which gravity works and we found that if two objects are the same size, weight does not matter - gravity will work equally, the objects will reach the ground at the same time.
We are learning how to use scientific terms in our experiments, such as hypothesis, method, fair test and results. With many more experiments to come, P6 are very excited. We look forward to our topic celebration at W5 where we are participating in a Forensic Workshop, taking fingerprints and identifying suspects!
Stay at tuned for more experiments and super science fun!
