Titanic Day 2016

On Thursday 7th April P7 in Pond Park enjoyed another sail on the Titanic...with no icebergs!

The pupils entered into the 'Spirit of Titanic' by dressing up in period costume. Every type of passenger was represented, from the ladies and gentlemen of First Class, to the stokers working with the boilers.

After a parade throughout the school, the pupils arrived in the school hall to meet 'passengers' from the doomed voyage and listen to them tell their Titanic story. This was followed by 'Afternoon Tea'.

The pupils acted out scenes as if they were on board the ship and watched the classic film 'A Night to Remember'.
