All P7 pupils took part in the Business Beginnings Programme facilitated through the Young Enterprise Programme. Each class was introduced to basic business vocabulary and operations. With this knowledge the classes each appointed a Managing Director, Assistant Managing Director, Finance, Sales, Production, Marketing and Events teams. Once a product had been decided and named, the classes prepared orders and thought about how to sell their product. Teams took part in a sales event at Bow Street Mall. Produce was also sold at our school sports days and PTA Summer Fair. All classes made a profit and now the big decision is how to spend it! P7 would like to thank Pond Park PTA for the initial start-up loan and Young Enterprise for their advice and support.
