Our P7 pupils set sail on Titanic Day in school on Thursday 25th April. The costumes were fantastic as pupils came to school dressed as first, second and third class passengers as well as members of crew. We were delighted to welcome ‘Spirit of the Titanic’ author Nicola Pierce to school to share the story of writing our class novel, her love of Titanic and what it’s like to be a professional author. Pupils paraded around all classes in school to show off their costumes, heard from some famous Titanic characters, had afternoon tea as served on Titanic and created their own iPad comic strips of the final hours of the disaster.
